Total health care for women, by women.
A simple, powerful idea.

Women to Women Healthcare Center in Yarmouth, Maine

Things are changing; the pressure is rising on all of us; and time feels as if it’s speeding up. Women are more stressed — and feeling worse — than ever before. You take care of children, jobs, finances, parents, communities, homes, and your environment. Who is there to take care of you with the same devotion? We can...

We are.

For 21 years, Women to Women has welcomed over 100,000 women through the wide front doors of our cozy, all-female practice located in an historic Victorian house, so unlike conventional clinics.

At Women to Women, you’ll experience, perhaps for the first time, what it’s like to be really heard and cared for by a trained healthcare practitioner — one that’s not rushing you out the door or dealing with patient quotas. Our practitioners practice person-based and personalized medicine, assessing and treating the total health of each diverse patient while preventing and healing dysfunctions that lead to chronic disease. To do this, we spend a lot of time with you, listening to your story and make it our business to make sure that you are getting the care you need.

Our energetic, talented knowledgeable practitioners bring to bear all that they’ve learned about conventional and alternative medicine and use the dynamic tenets of functional medicine to encourage your complete health and vitality — for life — no matter what challenges you face.

If you live in our area and would like to experience what it’s like to be a part of a supportive, holistic women’s healthcare practice, we welcome you here. Please call and make an appointment.

If you live outside our area, we offer telephone consultations, including second opinions. We promise you will be glad you did.

What is functional medicine?

Functional medicine is a dynamic, patient-based approach to assessing, preventing and treating chronic disease. Practitioners see a web-like interconnectedness between the body, mind, and spirit that differs in each individual. Using the most natural, least invasive protocols first, practitioners work from the inside-out to identify and heal core clinical imbalances that lead to poor health.
