Allison Gray FNP
Allison has been involved in women’s health care for the past decade, working as a labor and delivery nurse in addition to teaching nursing and holistic health courses at the University of Southern Maine.
She Graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2006 with her BS in Nursing and again in 2016 with her Masters of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. She began her career at St Mary’s hospital in Lewiston Maine and has had the privilege of attending hundreds of births and caring for thousands of women and their newborn babies. Her interest in Women’s Health began with the prenatal care of her first daughter 20 years ago at Women to Women. The care she received at the clinic inspired her to go to nursing school and share the same kind of empowering health care with others in the hopes that it would effect their lives as well.
In addition to working as a nurse she began teaching at USM over 5 years ago focusing mainly on teaching holistic health and reproductive health classes. It brings her great joy to introduce the concept of holistic health and enjoys facilitating newfound understanding of the amazing abilities of the human body to heal and flourish in supportive conditions.
She is looking forward to using her background to help the women she works with achieve the most fulfilling, healthy lives possible.
Currently Allison is completing her training with Marcelle Pick at the Women to Women clinic. She will be welcoming new patients this summer.
