“People face tragedies every day, and maybe this can help them in some way.”
Caroline is a 51-year-old mother and schoolteacher who has been experiencing some
perimenopausal symptoms over the past year. When her daughter, who began working
with us early this year, told her about the Personal Program, her reaction was,
“Hmm, I think I need that.” She’d been on the Program just
a few months when her 21-year-old son suffered a tragic accident and died a few
days later. The loss of one’s child is a parent’s worst nightmare, one
that those who have not had this experience can barely begin to imagine. There is
some small comfort in Caroline’s belief that the Program helped her.
“My daughter got me going on the Personal Program,” Caroline told us,
“and I actually noticed a difference in the very first month. I just noticed
a personality difference: I felt a little more calm, a little more in line. Not
so much PMS.” For a schoolteacher, these can be crucial differences! “I
knew I was perimenopausal or menopausal. I just felt better almost instantly.
“When my son’s accident happened, I got my period on the way to the
hospital to visit him. It was huge. I bled for a week more than I usually do, and
my daughter said it must have been cleansing.” Especially during perimenopause,
personal stress can really affect a woman’s periods.
“Our son was in the hospital for four days on life support. I know his death
disrupted my menstrual cycle and hormonal balance. I believe the extra nutrients
were beneficial to me during this very stressful time. I’m so thankful to
my daughter for recommending them to me.
“I’m very glad I was committed to this Program before I had this tragic
event happen in my life. Prior to this I’ve never really been one to take
many vitamins. I’ve always believed in omega-3’s, and maybe a Tylenol
now and then, but I’m not a vitamin maniac. The Personal Program is convenient
as the supplements are pre-packaged.
“People deal with personal challenges every day, and maybe sharing my experience
can help in some way.”
