Women’s stories
“Life is enjoyable again.”
Callie had a natural menopause at the age of 49, and her doctor put her on Prempro to relieve her many symptoms. She stayed on it just three months because she couldn’t tolerate the side effects. When she got off, her menopause symptoms got worse.
In her words, “My hot flashes were so intense they were embarrassing, especially working in the public. I had no control over them. What was I supposed to say, Excuse me while I sweat?’”
Callie thinks she found us by sheer positive energy. She wasn’t looking for an alternative to HRT, but one day, our website just “popped up”.
She had been on her Program just over three weeks when we first spoke. She was absolutely adherent to the guidelines for her Essential Nutrients. Everything was improving. “I am so hopeful,” she said.
There were still big issues though. Her digestion was not functioning well, and we discussed a number of steps she could take to help it recover.
This was very stressful for Callie, but she chose to persist anyway. When we last spoke she reported continued improvement in every symptom, and said she now only has about one hot flash a week. “Life is enjoyable again.” And that’s as it should be.
