Improvement after years of frustration

Nina had suffered heavy bleeding for the last four years. She was diagnosed with fibroids but her physician wasn't convinced they were the cause of the bleeding. He tried a number of hormonal drugs, but they made Nina feel awful and did not reduce the bleeding. By this point the chronic condition had made her anemic, and she required separate treatment for that.
