Marcelle Pick OB/GYN NP

Marcelle Pick, OB/GYN NP is a co-founder of the Women to Women Clinic in Yarmouth, Maine, as well as Women to Women’s Personal Program. She is also a regular contributor to Women to Women.com. Marcelle continues to see patients at the Clinic, and is the author of the recent best-selling book, Are You Tired and Wired? She also wrote The Core Balance Diet and hosts a popular weekly show about women’s health on Hay House Radio.

Dixie J. Mills MD

Dixie Mills, MD, is currently seeing patients in her private practice in Greater Boston. She is also developing an integrated breast care center there. Dixie is a co-founder of the Personal Program and a regular contributor to Women to Women.com. Dixie is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has served as Medical Director at the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation in California.

Susan E. Brown PhD

Dr. Susan E. Brown, PhD, CNS, specializes in osteoporosis and osteopenia and has more than 25 years of experience in clinical nutrition and bone health research. Dr. Brown is also a medical anthropologist and consults extensively on socioeconomic, cultural, educational, and health issues, she has authored numerous academic articles and several books, including Better Bones, Better Body, and is a regular contributor to womentowomen.com.

Sarika Arora, MD

Sarika Arora, MD is a physician who is board-certified in Internal Medicine, practicing at an integrative medical center in Boston. She has also practiced acute care medicine as a hospitalist. Dr. Arora authors and reviews articles and additional content for Women to Women, with special expertise in nutrition, chronic fatigue, PMS, gastrointestinal and hormonal balance, and stress management.

She is an active member of the Institute of Functional Medicine, where she has completed the training for Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP). As a medical doctor, Dr. Arora is dedicated to following a patient-centered approach, and designs customized lifestyle medicine programs focused on nutrition education and the use of exercise to improve vitality and quality of life.

Dr. Arora’s belief that all her patients deserve to feel their best each and every day guides her as a practitioner. She is extremely passionate about evaluating and treating patients from a whole-person perspective, including investigating how patients’ genes interact with both environment and lifestyle factors.

Dr. Mary James

Dr. Mary James is a naturopathic physician who authors and reviews women’s health articles for Women to Women. She has advanced training in menopause, nutritional endocrinology, anti-aging, and hormonal imbalances. Dr. James is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and is licensed through the Connecticut Naturopathic Board. She is a published researcher who has contributed to the Textbook of Functional Medicine, as well as the Textbook of Natural Medicine.

Dr. James is a lead content editor for the Alternative Medicine Review. She is also a health education specialist who authors and edits test commentary, therapeutic guides, and medical education literature for Genova Diagnostics. In addition, she works as a research fellow for the Optimal Health & Prevention Research Foundation, reviewing scientific literature and writing summaries and articles on a variety of health topics.

Dr. James follows a functional and preventive medicine approach with special concentrations on health issues that arise during perimenopause and post-menopause. She has a lifelong commitment to exploring the impact of stress on women’s health, as well as other topics related to chronic illnesses, especially autoimmunity.

Marcy E. Holmes, NP

Marcy E. Holmes, NP is a Nurse Practitioner, Menopause Clinician, and contributor to Women to Women. For more than ten years, Marcy played an integral role at the Women to Women Clinic in Yarmouth, Maine, providing a variety of essential healthcare services to women. Now in private practice, Marcy continues to focus on improving women’s access to healthcare and educating them about their options for healing and better overall wellness.

Sherri
RN, Nurse Educator

Sherri is registered nurse working directly with women who need special attention and guidance. As a Nurse-Educator, Sherri discusses women’s individual health issues and helps customize the Program to fit their specific needs. A member of the Women to Women team since 2004, Sherri earned her degree in nursing from Westbrook College (ME), and has experience as a maternity and hospital nurse.

Sherri says: “I like partnering with women to help them discover wellness ideas that work for them. For me, it’s all about the relationships I develop with women on the phone. I learn from them. They learn from me. It’s an exchange — I love it!”

Annie
Wellness Coach

Annie is a Wellness Coach who provides the guidance women need to relieve their symptoms and the compassion they crave as they overcome personal wellness challenges. She earned a BA in Applied Exercise Science from Springfield College in MA, and is a yoga instructor and personal trainer. She is also a certified Reiki practitioner.

Annie says: “Women are so busy taking care of everyone else that I like to remind them 'You are incredibly important too, and you can and should take the time to take care of yourself'. I encourage them that just a few minutes a day can make all the difference.”

Heather
Wellness Coach

As a Wellness Coach Heather works one-on-one with women to help them find symptom relief and better wellness. Heather earned a BA from the University of Southern Maine and an MA from Goddard College (VT), and holds certifications in chair yoga and Ayurvedic Wellness Counseling. She has also provided nutrition information, physical activity, and tobacco resistance education to Middle and High School Students through Healthy Maine Partnerships.

Heather says: “I like guiding women to that “a-ha” moment when they suddenly realize: ‘Hey, I’m in charge of my own health!’ It’s an empowering and exciting moment that often becomes a turning point in how they approach wellness. I love facilitating that process.”

Marina
Wellness Coach

As a Wellness Coach, Marina specializes in helping women find the path to feeling good again, often by guiding them toward restoring hormonal balance. Marina earned a BA from the University of Vermont and is a board certified holistic health and nutrition counselor through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). She is dedicated to sharing her knowledge about natural healthcare and nutrition with women who are ready to make life changes.

Marina says: “I’m passionate about helping women improve their overall health through diet and lifestyle. Women are often much stronger than they know, and helping them find their power within makes me feel good too.”
