Hysterectomy & alternatives

FAQ’s on hysterectomy, partial hysterectomy, and hormones

How do I prepare for my surgery?

We recommend you read Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster: A Guide of Mind-Body Techniques, by Peggy Huddleston. Many of our patients have benefited from the audio version, which is designed to be listened to during your surgery.  The book and cassette or CD can be purchased as a set.

We also recommend the use of our comprehensive Multi Botanical and a good support program to help prepare the body for the hormonal changes ahead.
