Seeking wellness in health
care
Marcy E. Holmes, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner joined the Women to Women Health
Care Center in 2001 after completing her advanced Nurse Practitioner education and
training at the University of Rochester, NY School of Nursing. After years of exposure
to various areas of conventional medical care, she quickly embraced the holistic
approach offered here and excelled in the Functional Medicine training handed down
by Marcelle Pick NP, co-founder and owner of the center.
Marcy soon went on to gain recognition in the community as a dedicated and valued
practitioner at the center. She obtained her certificate of added qualification
as a Menopause Clinician, highlighting her expertise in caring for women through
the years of hormonal change and offering various nutritional, herbal, as well as
Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy options. Marcy also has a dedicated interest
in various specialty areas such as PMS, Vulvar dermatology, Digestive health, Nutrition,
Adrenal health and Neurotransmitter balance. Marcy proudly serves as a resource
for and contributor to the Personal Program and womentowomen.com, and is quoted
often in various other internet publications.
“Years of training in conventional Nursing and medicine simply left me hungry for
more ways to treat women as a whole, considering mind-body-spirit and nutrition.
Then I found my place at the Women to Women Health Care Center where I can implement
the philosophies graciously handed down by the center founders. I am thrilled to
work with women of all ages to reach their health and wellness goals, using a functional
medicine approach that we offer in our own unique way here at the Women to Women
Health Care Center.”
