Seeking wellness in health care
“Early in my nursing career, I identified with a perspective that evaluates one’s health as it constantly evolves along a continuum of wellness and living. Being aware of this continuum allows me, as a nurse practitioner, to provide a multidimensional approach towards wellness. I have also determined the most rewarding venue for me to provide this type of care is working one-on-one with women of all ages. Unique to women is a sense of self, including self-care and wellness, that evolves and flourishes in relation to life experiences with others. I am thrilled at Women to Women to share these perspectives with my patients.”

Incorporating “functional medicine” with “evidence-based medicine”
“Training in a traditional, evidence-based clinical environment provides a reassuring foundation for patient diagnosis and treatment. Real-life experience at Women to women also provides an expanded view, one which adds alternative and complementary options, and functional medical evaluation, to help patients reach their goals. Sometimes thinking beyond the standard of care helps bring much greater than standard/averages results. My goal is to help patients actually feel well and thrive in life.”
